After the beginning of the new academic year Intracol, a BULPROS company, launched a free Java training program. The main goals of the program, named Java Basecamp are to introduce gifted IT students into the world of Java, provide them an advanced Java training and thus improve their programming skills. Students will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced mentor, meet members of Intracol team and enjoy an inspiring and positive environment throughout the whole process.
Java Basecamp is organized by Intracol for the first year and will last one month, starting on 22nd October. This first edition of the free Java training raised great interest among the students and there were more than 100 applications for participation, out of which we had to select the 16 most suitable candidates.
All training sessions will be aligned with the university schedule of classes and will be held outside of lectures’ hours, from 16:00 to 20:00 PM. Java Basecamp is an intensive and advanced Java training including the following sub-topics: Getting started with Java, The First Real Java Program, Making Code Professional, Introduction to Microservices, Spring for Microservices and Spring Cloud Overview.
The training program will finish at the end of November with an exit test and the best-scored trainees will go through an interview with Intracol hiring managers and eventually receive a job offer, based on their performance. With Java Basecamp Intracol gives young IT talents the unique chance not only to enhance their IT knowledge, but also to join our team as Junior Java Developers.
